The EGU-DAMA Type-COVER was developed as a finesse jig that can attack cover with the same feel of a full-size jig or Texas rig. We noticed that posture on bottom was determined by the rubber skirt, so the jig was instead designed with a high priority on penetration and slip-through ability in cover. The result is a small tungsten rubber jig that casts stress-free into the deepest part of bush and through thick thorns.
The rubber skirt is the identity of the EGU-DAMA series with original tapered portion and original regular portion. The strong vibrations created by the tapered rubber are effective for both highly pressured bass and for those lurking in thick cover. The capabilities of the tapered rubber doesn’t end there. While having a good thickness and strength, the taper bends well and maximizes the jig’s ability to penetrate cover. The lightness of the taper also minimizes splash to avoid applying unnecessary pressure.
