The X-80 Jr. from Megabass is the little brother of the X-80 Trick Darter. The Junior also performs best with short and gentle jerks with the rod tip. Besides the distinctive left/right movement, the Jr. version also has a fierce body roll. This smaller version is a delight to fish on a lighter rod or BFS setup and allows itself to be thrown nice and far due to the well-known moving tungsten balancers.
The nervous character of the X-80 Jr. lends itself well to so-called 'reaction strike' fishing. Especially on tough days with no wind and clear weather, this very trait can win over perch or pike to go on the attack.
