The Megabass FX9 is a realistic, flat-sided minnow. During casts, the FX9’s Variable Resistance Flap Bill tucks against the body, decreasing air resistance and thereby extending overall casting distance. Additionally, the Flap Bill shifts according to changes in water flow during jerks, creating unpredictable movement that mimics the action of fleeing baitfish encountering a predator. On a straight retrieve, the FX9, with its decentralized balancer system, will create a high-speed S-shaped rolling movement to enhance it enticement.
