The Sakamata Shad 8" is a large-sized V-tail shad,
made by the well-known Japanese Deps. This heavyweight model is slightly heavier by almost 5 grams and thus weighs 41 grams. Even though this model is heavier than han the original 8", due to its higher salt content of 65%.
Suited for all predators such as zander, pike, and (sea)bass. The keeled fins along the head direct the water downwards and push the head of the shad upwards. The fins act as stabilizers and ensure the bait falls perfectly horizontally during breaks and not head-first, if weightless rigged.
